SAIPA Accountant Goodwood Cape Town
Our retail client in Durbanville Cape Town is looking for a SAIPA Accountant with 1-2 years post SAIPA experience. Completed SAIPA Articles is essential. You will be responsible for accounting, financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Min Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Completed SAIPA Articles
- Minimum of 1-2 years post SAIPA of experience in accounting or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Accounting – SAGE/PASTEL
- Financial Record Keeping – Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients or the organization.
- Record all financial transactions in the appropriate ledgers and journals.
- Financial Reporting – Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Compliance and Regulation – Ensure compliance with SAIPA standards, as well as local and international accounting regulations.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and other statutory filings in a timely manner.
- Budgeting and Forecasting – Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Audit Support – Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes.
